I only got part way through the video (narrator should be classified as a sleep aid), but noticed that the Marines in 1999 were still using loop slings like we teach in at least some positions, and hasty in the others.
Do they still try to use those tools in Basic and AIT, or has that "gone away" as so many of the troops seem to be be using single-point slings these days?
