Please join me in acknowledging the hard work and dedication of Gemanuel (George) for completing the SBIT process in the wind and the rain at the Audubon PA shoot this weekend.
George had a test of fire to earn his green hat with one shoot of 20 scouts that gave an "oh by the way, the rifles we thought we were bringing, we're not 6 days before the event" and the monsoon that hit today making the footing on the range this afternoon unsafe (when the shooters need to drain their mats between strings of fire on the AQT, it's raining.
George absorbed new information, and demonstrated an ability to adapt and overcome tweaking the POI/COF to maintain safety for the scouts and hit all of the content that makes it an Appleseed to developing new IIT's and progressing existing IIT's along the trail!
George will take over as the shoot boss for the Elverson shoots!
Congratulations George.
Ales - please post the picture of George getting his green hat here!
Thanks,
Frank
