Aww... you mean I've gotta shoot it and get it all messy and stuff?
Haha... I did my best to take what I learned at Appleseed along with what I see as some of my big problem areas and built a gun specifically for how I shoot. Adjustable length of pull so I won't have quite so much trouble with my eye relief on my scope while keeping a good turkey neck in each of the three positions. Adjustable cheek-rest so I don't have to use the tie-on one that keeps slipping. Pistol grip makes it easier to keep from draggin' wood. Adjustable hex bolt in the trigger to control over-travel to help with my follow-through. Parallax adjustment to assist with focusing my eye on the crosshair.
... but to answer your question, I took it to the range yesterday and put about three hundred rounds through her. She's not quite broken in yet, but I was shooting 2-4 MOA spreads from a sitting position (which was actually somewhat unsupported in a chair because I only have an indoor range). It's a blast (no pun intended) to shoot... super smooth and easy to fire. There's a good possibility that I'm in love with my rifle. ^-^
I've still gotta put at least another brick through her before she's fully broken in, but I like what I've seen so far!
I'm curious, are you saying you will change your stock adjustments differently for each of the three shooting positions? Won't that make rapid fire AQTs tough?

My main problem is that I just needed a longer length of pull in general. With that, I'm fine with prone and standing. I still have to make adjustments for sitting, but in the case of a rapid-fire AQT, I'd just have to make due... which is what I've been doing anyway, so I figure there's no loss.
That looks great! How much does that beast weigh?
Roland
Haven't checked the weight yet... feels pretty light though. Will let you know...
Very nice! I like the looks of the octagon barrel.
It's a gorgeous rifle. I wish you were closer than CA because I would love to see it in person.
Where in CA are you?
Very nice looking and it sounds like it shoots just fine, congratulations
Well, just finished breaking it in last night... After running about seven hundred fifty rounds through her, I got her sighted in quite nicely. From a semi-supported chair seated position (indoor range isn't optimal for this) she was giving me 1.5-MOA to 2-MOA groupings with Federal American Eagle ammo. When I can get some time in prone at an outdoor range and I'm actually focusing more on technique, I can see this sucker giving me some nice 1-MOA groupings with decent ammo.
I kinda love this rifle... can you tell?

In Los Angeles... Westside... You?
Nice, very nice.
San Diego, La Mesa, East County.
man very nice rifle. I really like that stock
Well, for those wanting to know how the rifle shoots, I took it to Angeles range today. Shot about six self-administered AQTs after sighting her in. The results: 214, 218x3, 224 and 228. When I was really focusing, I was managing 1-2 MOA spreads on average.
did you ever get a weight on her?
