Title: End of the Year
Post by: Patriot Gal on December 27, 2011, 01:18:41 AM

We are reaching the end of 2011.  Already we have shoots to get scheduled, IBCs to schedule, gun shows and promotions to do, history to learn and practice, and lines to fill for 2012.

I trust you are ready to jump into the new year with both feet running as you hit the ground!!!  This will be a busy and a great year for growth in Appleseed and we will be a part of it.   O0

I would ask each of you to be thinking of the many ways in which you can participate in Appleseed other than on the firing line.  Can you help your SC to schedule shoots?  Can you be a dedicated "Boots on the ground" for one of the ranges?  If your state doesn't have an Instructor Coordinator, can you be that person to come along side new IITs to help them get a good start along the Appleseed Trail?  Can you commit to doing promotions at a certain number of gun shows throughout the year?  How about a LibrarySeed?

If your State Coordinator, Promotions Coordinator or Instructor Coordinator should be unable to continue bailing that bucket for whatever reason, would you be able to pick it up and continue bailing to keep Appleseed thriving in your state?  These are things to consider as we each take responsibility to further the Mission of Appleseed with each task we undertake.  It all is important and it all is needed.

For those in the Great Plains Region who have affirmed the roll call to stay with Appleseed and help carry on the important work that we do, Thank you !  I'm so happy you made the choice to stay.  We need each and every one of you.  For those of you who are leaving, thank you for the time you have given to the Mission of Appleseed.  Perhaps you will join us again someday, but even if you don't, I wish you the best.

So here is to a Prosperous 2012 for Appleseed!  I look forward to meeting each of you during this next year as we follow the Appleseed Trail!

Thanks for all you do for Appleseed!
