Dedicated Appleseed Trailer
I've been on the prowl on craigslist and other classifieds. Finally found a nice one that didn't break the bank, and got the approval of Mrs. Burbs. @&)
It's a 6X12, and has a nice setup inside that the previous owner used as a workbench. Lots of storage, and one could sleep in it in a pinch. Inside height is ~78 inches, so everyone but Bill Winkle will be able to stand up inside. :P
Several other instructors and soon-to-be shoot bosses have vehicles that can tow this thing, so I anticipate it being used at more than 50% of our 2012 events.
It's not new, so I won't kill the first person to put a scratch on it.
Here are a few pics:

You know, I got out of having to drive to Brighton the other day to tow my brother-in-law back to Saginaw. But now I have a real reason to buy a trailer hitch.

That's cool!

OMG, if I wasn't brain dead from just finishing 12 hours of parent / teacher conferences (in which I played the starring role of teacher), I'd have something more witty to say. I'll leave it at you ROCK ITB!
Oh man, I just noticed the 2" flat washers screwed into the plywood as travelling drawer stops. You buy that thing in Hamtramck? >:D :pop:

Does it get cable? :pop:

No, but the guy was a Chrysler engineer for 30 years. I actually like the washer idea. The drawers are real nice, they're on smooth rollers. Don't be hating on the DAT!
Fyi - it needs a 2" ball.
Very nice Burbs.
I have to side with Mac. It is begging for vinyl graphics.
WOOT! Congrats Burbs
UDAT (undercover dedicated appleseed trailer)
Just got home from being "up north" all week. Just thought I would check in.
(and no, no meat for the stew pot this year :'( though my brother shot a nice big buck)
It's all good brother burbs.
You know, if you cut off the cabinet level and extended the counter top, you'd have a nice gunsmithing bench. That would be pretty cool.
Buying 2" ball today.

A workbench that flips down from the side and bears weigh through flip down legs is both a workbench AND a bunk...
A propane heater makes this a great "warm up" room for winterseeders having medical issues, or a small AC unit could do the same for 100 degree summer events.
Lots of options!

I like a man who understands incentives! O0
The DAT has had some upgrades! #6 how about posting a picture?
I'm having issues with the iPhone and Windows PCs in getting photos, I'll get them to photobucket or something so that I can get them properly linked

Pimped out DAT ready for the "D".

#6 are you going to post the picture of the other mod?
Wow, great job, guys.
Well, I heard the feedback (and some grumbling &) ) and I've made an improvement to the DAT.
Added a shelf to the storage area underneath the bench. This way, the canopy legs are now separated from the line posts and rebar.
Also, I picked up 8 of the larger 6' T-posts, in response to the grumbles from the Houghton Lake crew.
Do you think that wire will be OK tangling up with those posts?
