Title: Montpelier,VA-Oct.8&9,2011
Post by: sgtmace on October 11, 2011, 12:21:49 AM
Man what a wonderful weekend-weather in the 70's, a great host range and 31 shooters that were eager to listen and learn. Again I would like to congradulate our 4 new Riflemen, and our 3 that proved they have what it takes to shoot a Rifleman's score. Along with that, most everyone in attendence with just a little pratice will make the cut. Remember all those fundimentals, practice them. Go to the range with a goal each time, or at least set up and practice dry firing at home. And above all- make your voice heard. This is "We the People.."
A good number of shooters took advantage of the camping area. Great fellowship and food around the fire. Doesn't get much better than that. Hope to see you folks again soon. And by all means bring some more folks along.

I was a great shoot. I second the notion that everyone there has rifleman potential. A great event top to bottom, from the marksmanship side to the heritage side.....

Found at this shoot one knife in the parking lot. Describe it to claim it. I can be reached here or you can check the AS schedule and find my phone on the event listing for Virginia events.
