We were off to a slow start with only 3 pre-reg, but 3 additional walk-ons helped. Noah, Scott, and Mike were returning Riflemen, and Alec, Ruben, and Logan were new to AS. Everyone toughed out the warm August weather. We drank lots of water, but took enough breaks so no one passed out.
Ruben was unable to shoot prone due to physical issues, and Mike had a broken leg, but no one complained and everyone came back for more on Sunday. Scott repeated his Rifleman score, but even though the others were very close no one else pulled it off again this time.
Thanks to Krahnic (new IIT3) for his help, and Scottyl33t and TowedJumper for stepping up and taking an orange hat. It makes me feel a lot better about the future of AS in the central valley after losing 4 instructors to new jobs this year alone.
