Title: AAR: Ramah CO July 20-21, 2011
Post by: Long Rifle on August 22, 2011, 04:02:42 PM
Despite the hot conditions 8 Americans came to the Colorado Plains to improve their long range marksmanship skills and learn about their heritage. It was a small shoot but we had quality students.

Thanks to the Ben Lomond Gun Club for hosting this event.

I had a great time with everyone. Thanks for hanging in there through the hot days. I look forward to seeing all of you at a future Appleseed.

Hot conditions?  We drove over 800 miles to enjoy those "hot" conditions.  Come on over to Oklahoma or Texas next August, and we'll show you a hot Appleseed!

My kids and I had a great time, taking our first Appleseed Vacation roadtrip.  Thanks for the suggested route to New Mexico, also!  The scenery trough the mountain pass was phenomenal!

We had a great time meeting everyone there and you sure have an awesome facility.  It was really cool hearing the fully-automatic fire from the other side of the ridge. . .  it sounded like . . . FREEDOM!

It was my first Appleseed as a shooter since taking my orange hat last March.  It was a lot of fun spending the weekend on my belly!

Awesome crew, Awesome range, Awesome Appleseed!
