While on my excursion to Camp Perry a few weeks ago I came across a new CLP--Gunzilla. It is awesome stuff, even if the ad for it reads like "It slices! It dices! But wait--there's more!"
I tried it on my newly bought CMP Garand, and after I heard myself say "Oh, it's not bad..." on the first patch, followed by "Oh My GOD!" on the second, I decided I wanted a quart of the stuff. The patch through my M39 Mosin came out wallet-leather brown, and I thought that rifle was clean.
One thing that it does not do, is clean wooden stocks; and in my search for a suitable butt stock cleaner I came across this:

Ballistol seems like it is even more versatile: cleaned the rifle, lubed the knives, polished the boots, disinfected the wound, and took it for sore throat.
Take a look see, post your thoughts.
Have yet to try the products mentioned; (ballistol?) Was happy to see corrosion-X mentioned further down the list. Have some left over from the airport days & really like the product. Thanks for the recommend; will have to try some!!
dond(IL State Coordinator) introduced me to Gunzilla at my last shoot.
