Hi: When folks talk about adding a "sticky" to their CMP M1 order form asking for a certain period, serial number range, etc., are they talking about an actual yellow-type sticky note or adding a self-written page to the application? Has anyone tried a short letter with the application? Thanks,
Steve
I put a yellow sticky note explaining they were to be our 1st Garands and I was more interested in a good shooter over historic value. We ended up getting two identical H&R's with new stocks. They shoot awesome and when sgtrock check mine with his gauges they have little to almost no wear. Not sure if the note helped but it does not seem to have hurt.
I've ordered quite a few rifles from them and just write my request on the order page under my order. That way it doesn't get lost and is with the paper work when they pick it. So far it's worked every time. I've never got a bad rifle from CMP.
