Title: Lexinton and Concord
Post by: jmdavis on July 26, 2011, 04:39:24 PM
A Richmond director, Kevin Herchberger looks to be shooting a film about Lexington and Concord. A slate that I saw in one of the shots from an actor acquaintence (who is playing John Parker) shows a production title of "Let it Begin Here." I have no other information but I know some people that work on his films and will try to find out more. I don't even know if its a feature or a documentary.

OK, It appears to be a 10 minute film for the new Boston tea Party Museum that focuses on the events of April 19, 1775.

There was a bit in a local paper here a few months back - locals are ticked off by the film crews choice of location and actors - seems it will be filmed in Williamsburg VA using paid actors instead of on the actual sites using the reenactors that know the drill well...

Actually, if you check the link you will see that they are indeed using reenactors in addition to actors.  Location might also be a result of the cost of shooting in the Boston area.
