I would most gladly be there to see Kelli receive that Riflewoman patch that is coming her way due to her Riflewoman's perserverance but it is my obligation to remain in NW WI (aka NE MN) to host to the Chittamo Pickers and their scheduled Minong Days main stage appearance that weekend. The Chittamo Pickers (half of whom are my Viet Nam Vet Brotrher in Law) are ambadassors for  "Operation Happy Note" and besides being musical geniuses solicit  donations on behalf of "Operation Happy Note" to pay the freight to ship donated musical insturments to our WARRIORS overseas.

Alas, I am committed to the Cornell, MI shoot next to my deer camp...
Kelli has the heart and spirit of a Rifleman, the patch will follow in due time.

Minog Days?  Isn't every day in Minog a day? :-X
Sounds like a noble cause, in my opinion.  Psst..  Do they have any empty slots on stage?  For perhaps another noble cause? ;)

Don't let them convince you to stay! :-\
If you run into a Mark, who was at Gordon, WI last Oct.  Tell him I said hi!

I will more than likely be there. This time for both days, provided my mother does not have another episode. Just can't commit yet until it gets closer.

The plan is: Doug and Sheridan will drive up for Saturday, and Sheridan and I will drive up for Sunday.

The State shutdown cut our family budget substantially for this month, so we won't be staying up there, or taking "Puma Paul" to Duluth this time  :(

Maybe one of the three of us can still become the 100th Minnesota rifleman, though!  ;)

Ron, I'm sorry to hear your mother is not doing so well. It's hard when it's like that. I hope you can get a break and come up if things are going OK for her.

Ah...  The repercusions of the shut down still reverberate.
But the true Rifleman knows how to improvise, adapt, and conquer!
I do hope each of you get your patch!  Heck, someday being a double-digit Rifleman is gonna be amazing, too!  Just wait untill we're goin' for Rifleman #1,ooo,ooo!

Sparks, I pray all is well with your mother!
If you commit, and something happens, don't hesitate - Attend to your family.

Kelli decided that she wants to go on Sunday but didn't get signed up in time.  What does she need to do?

All that's required is for her to show up. She can register at the gate, and maybe bring a fiend....

I will see AFTERMATH tonight and let him know in the event he doesn't get on here to see for himself.

Sunday?  Well that don't look like Kelli weather....

From Nat'l weather service:
QuoteSunday: Sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph.

Now Saturday on the other hand....
QuoteSaturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. North wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Well there's a 40% chance....

Oh, well.  I guess we can improvise a little rain, snow, wind, heat, etc...  Just to keep her comfortable. **)

See you Sunday, Kelli!
