Good day all,

Never heard of the "Project Appleseed" thing but it does have my interest. But I am very glad to have found this site!  ^:)^

I would very much like to attend the next event etc. I will try to read the post etc before I start asking questions and all.  ;)

I live over in the Gig Harbor area, so anyone in this area willing to car pool etc I would be up for that.  O0

Welcome to the WA State boards! Glad you found us. I am interested in learning how you finally heard about Project Appleseed. If you can find any way to make it to Castle Rock in August, try to be prepaired to camp over night so as to limit your costs in travel. You are guaranteed to have a great time, rain and or shine.

Welcome, JustinCase.   I attended my first Appleseed a couple weeks back in Castle Rock, WA and it was an excellent time.  I had some firearms experience and wanted to improve my skills.  The Revolutionary War history also interested me.  I found the instruction to be top notch.  Safety was emphasized and the marksmanship skills taught were helpful for new shooters (no assumptions were made) as well as helpful for those with shooting experience.  I hope to attend at Castle Rock shoots in the future, perhaps we will meet.

I don't make it to that side of the state very often, but I might have to make a point of it just to meet all the fine Western WA shooters!  Gosh, like I needed one more excuse to go to an AppleSeed!   **)

OnlyHitsCounts, I look forward to you coming over here, at least once ya know!! so you know what we look like here on the west side, camping available, free at Wade's! or you can stay at our house, we drive 1 1/4 hrs to get to Castle Rock.

JustInCase, I sure hope you find your way over, this weekend is a full one and maybe you will be there! Camping!

and ShadowMan, hope you come and take your Orange hat on Sunday, if not...later!!

Hey Joni !!

At some point I would love to take you up on this offer!  :)   My AS calendar is looking pretty full for this year, but come 2012 I will have to make a point to work Castle Rock into the schedule.   O0

(Not to mention it is always nice to spend time with a few like-minded friends!   ^:)^ )

well then we will look for you!! We will attend at least one, maybe 2 in Yakima, so we will see you then too. Yes, friends of like mind are few and far in between! lookin' forward to it!
