This is mostly a place holder. More of my report will follow but all should feel free to add their own thoughts to this topic.
I want to congratulate our new Riflemen/women.

In addition, Becca and Dustin were both in the 200's this weekend and I believe that their next time at an Appleseed will put them over 210 as well.
Twenty nine Shooters for the weekend.
We wanted to say "Thanks" to the hard-working & enthusiastic volunteers who put on this first-rate Appleseed event. Brian, Tim, James, Rick, and Mr. Davis ... you all did a great job, thank you so much for all of your coaching and good counsel!
This Appleseed was held on the spacious grounds of the private Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club, in a distant suburb of Richmond, Virginia. It is a marvelous facility, with many ranges, long covered firing lines, club houses, and a lake. Several club members stopped by during the Appleseed, and all were friendly and helpful. Club officer Ed stopped by at the end of the second day, and spoke a few words about the history and charter of his organization. To all of the Club Members: Please accept our thanks for being such gracious and accommodating hosts, and for opening up your range for this Appleseed!
At the end of the first day, Stacie F. accepted an Orange Hat, and launched into her new IIT instructor duties the very next morning! Thank you, Stacie, for your friendly and helpful coaching ... and we look forward to seeing you as Shoot Boss sometime in the near future ;)
Shoot boss JMDavis was an engaging orator and storyteller, who really brought to life the dramatic events of April 19, 1775. He had a tremendous recall of history, and his ability to cite famous quotes and speeches from memory was truly impressive. Thank you Mr. Davis, for your perspectives and though-provoking questions!
Eight-year-old Arianna didn't quite make Rifleman this time, but did attain the Marksman level...and more importantly, had great perseverance and a wonderfully teachable attitude.
It's always a pleasure to see citizens turn out for an Appleseed. Many thanks to our host range, shooters and instructors for their tireless effort and energy to add 5 more Rifleman to this great nations ranks.
The weather was pretty warm but with some extra fluids all marched on. It got a little bumpy overnight for our campers, but that blew on through to give us bright skys again for Sunday.
Hope to see you all agaon real soon-and by all means bring a freind or 20 with you.
