What a fantastic weekend!
The weather was beautiful and the wind stayed down until late Sunday afternoon. You couldn't ask for better shooting weather in the desert. ;D
A total of 26 fellow Nevadans, including two who joined us from Reno, came out to the BEAUTIFUL Clark County Shooting Park for the event.
We had several families on our lines, many of which we've seen before, but there were lots of new faces as well.
In the end, we awarded four youths the Luther Blanchard patch. They gave it their all. One of them rocked an AR all weekend! :---
We brought two new Riflemen into the ranks. Screennames pending, there was Nick, a returning attendee from our inaugural CCSP shoot in October, who came out Sunday and shot a 211!
There was also Jamelle, who was a relatively new shooter. After much dedication to dry practice over the weekend, Jamelle scored a 213! Way to go both of you! ^:)^
We had many shooters knocking on the door, all increased their scores, and all will be back for more.
We also had new additions to our growing instructor team. D-DAY-Jack and Desert_rose have stepped up to take crisp new orange hats and have started down the instructor path. We are very glad to have them. :)
All shooters showed up on time and most showed up prepared!
Overall, it was an awesome weekend and there are to be many more like it this year.
Any one got any pictures to post? :)

Not very obvious or intuitive. But it does work.
Finally... :wb:
It's been unseasonably cool this May and I'm not complaining. The weather was perfect and we only had a couple of significant gusts.
We had a great shoot and welcomed several families into the fold. Our returning shooters continued to show progress and will soon be patch wearers too.
