Title: Prices for once-fired brass?
Post by: Brumley Dog on April 27, 2011, 03:47:21 AM
The St. Louis instructor corps is selling things we don't need so we can buy some LTR loaners. We have a table reserved at an upcoming gun show.

I have a ton of brass, which I'm going to de-prime, size and clean to a super shine. I'm wondering how many I should put in a package, and what a bargain price would be. I have the following calibers:

.40 (will sell as clean once-fired, no die)
9mm
.45 LC (will sell as clean once-fired, no die)
.44 Mag
.38 SPL
.380

Hopefully we can sell enough junk to buy a couple of 10/22s.

Kinda depends how much you have.  If you've got 10K cases of each, you'll probably want to package in 500 lots.  If you've got a thousand or two, probably go with 100 lots.

I'd bag the stuff up in 100's if it were me in quart ziplocks.

How much 380 have you got and what do you want for it?  Might be interested in a small USPS Flat Rate box full.  Say 200 cases...

for pricing check gunbrocker, you will see a lot of no bids, charge 1/2 to 2/3 of those no bid prices or if you see items with bids go 3/4 of the bid

I will see how much .380 I have. I know I've got about 50 in a ziplock. I think I chucked some in in my scrap brass pile a while. My .380 is a P3AT and I hate shooting it, so I don't reload for it.

Hey, BD,

How much .38 you got.  If this keeps up you won't need that table....    O0
