Sorry, I can't get the video of the Patriots Volley to upload from my iPod to my PC...
Great sound effects from the centerfire end of the line....
I'll keep working on it.

Did anyone get video or pix of the Acton Minuteman that stopped over from Dorchester Heights to give us the real scoop?

Oh, hey, that guy in the red coat (sorry, didn't occur to me just now that I was a wearing a Red Coat, oops) with the AK is me!

Best score was for me yesterday was a 184, without use of a sling.  Better than I've done before.

I am not sure if this will work if not on facebook.   My wife took some pictures and posted them on her photography sight.  There is a picture of that Action Minuteman that stopped by.  If you can not get into it I will host it.

Hey, AlexSpartan!

It was AWESOME to see you at the shoot!
Recharged my belief in God's hand in our mundane everyday lives...

Providence had and still has her hand in the course of our Nation!  HUZZAH!

It looked like you've been spending a little too much time with that AK since '08'.  ^-^ It was fun to watch you work.  :) I don't know if it's the only one you own, but it reminded me of the old adage, "Beware the man with one rifle, because he probably knows how to use it."  O0  Hope to see you back on the line again before another 2 1/2 years goes by.

It's tough not to have a good time at a 'seed'.  ^:)^ The weather made things challenging for ALL the shoots here in the upper midwest, but we all know, "It could have been worse!" We didn't have as much snow on the ground as you guys in the valley, but I think it's because the wind wouldn't give ours a chance to land.  :))

***TO THE NEW RIFLEMEN***

Congratulations go out to Steph who set the bar high for perseverance by earning her Rifleman creds. after 7 Appleseeds!  (Or was it 8?)

Also Mike/Woody35, who finally pulled it all together after a couple Appleseeds himself.

First timer Chris also turned in a pair of AQTs well over 210.

Good job, folks!  O0

Whats with all the green/brown????       :cool2:  :cool2:

I woke up to 6" of fresh snow on Sat. morning with 20mph winds. Somewhere in the high 20s or low 30s. Couldn't get the crew organized to shoot 'till 11am.  Needed 4 wheel drive to get through the "buckboards".

Glad all had a good time.

Didn't have my AK in Winona.  Back then it was my SKS (which I sold).

Oddly enough, I did better with my AK than with my SKS.

It's the Indian, not the arrow, right?

It is the indian, but it helps when he's got a strait arrow!
Next time?  RPK?  or SVD?  Just trying to assertain the logical progression....
Glad to see you well, don't be a stranger!

:-[ Enjoyed myself at the Winter / Mud Seed, amazing what a few hand warmers, foot warmers, a history lesson and a little camaraderie can do for the soul. I  hope to make it to a few more this year.

Hello all that attended and instructed.  I am Mike C., I was shooting about in the center of the line.  First of all, I had a great time, although I only made it out on Saturday.  I registered for both days, but I have another deployment coming up this spring and since Sunday turned out to be a better weather day I had to spend it with the wife.  I also figured it would prevent her from shopping more on Sunday.

I can now only remember just a few names of those who helped and provided guidance.

Whisker--Thanks for your help on Saturday's first partner exercise.

Cooper--Thank you for the history lesson, camaraderie, and experience.

Mike (the Shoot Boss?)--Thank you for your help.  I never learned to use the sling in Army Basic Training so this was valuable.  I wish I could have practiced more on Sunday!

An Orange Hat IIT loaned me a carpet roll to use under my tarp, Thank you!!

Thanks again to all!
