Well, it was a beautiful weekend for an Appleseed in Beaver Falls. The eleven cancellations, who left us with nearly a one-to-one student/instructor ratio, missed a great opportunity to share some American Heritage and marksmanship fundamentals.
The instructors were gratified to see marked improvement in marksmanship by the students over the course of the weekend.

Fully HALF of the students shot a Rifleman qualifying score, doubtless due to the teachable attitudes the students brought with them, and the individual attention the instructors provided. John and Justin qualified Sunday morning, and Jason re-qualified on Sunday afternoon.

Hey, since we had so much fun last weekend, what do you say we do this again? Maybe the second weekend in June? See you then!
Well, here I am again. Another Appleseed another year! This time however
I finally make score and earn my patch. No doubt a result of the
most excellent one on one instruction we received. At first we where
disappointed over the cancellation of most of the line. Others in our party
where unable to reserve their spot but we quickly discovered the advantage
of our new student/instructor ratio. My second Appleseed and the best one yet.
I would like to thank our instructors Lee, Spanner, Mr. Dan and Mr. Happy.
This fine cadre of excellent instructors provided this student and our party
with memories we will will carry with us for all our days. Thank you gentlemen
for all you do. Hazah! Hazah! Hazah!
You're welcome, JT. Come back again, and bring more friends! Remember, IIT's shoot for free (hint, hint).
