Congratulations to LadyZipper, who, on April 2,3 of 2011, was promoted to Full Instructor by DonD.
Seems far too long ago that I last worked with you in Pensacola, but even then, you knew well how to instruct.
'Fore too long, you'll be running that there event in Pensacola... >:D
Before you start working yourself towards that Green Hat, please take advantage of the Instructor Reimbursement policy to get out of this state, and get yourself some 'seasoning' out on the trail- I hear tell that Idaho is great this time of year, as is Connecticut.

Congrats, LZ! And yes, CT is just swell this time of year. Plus it's just a day trip to Battle Road - nothing like being where it all went down. Come on up and see us sometime - always room on the line. Maybe we can work some sort of FL-CT exchange program - my parents are taking the whole family to Disney next year for their 50th anniversary, so...

OK, that's the good news for LZ, now the "bad" news. U do know what's next right? Florida has never had a female SB. Nope, not one. Came really close and then her darn husband did what husbands often do and she was off the trail for the later part of the last nine months. While I still have high hopes - she's behind now and will have to catch up.
So, that puts LZ at the t op of the list for Florida's first - ever SB. There is only one first - will it be she? Fingers crossed. Actually, I'd be good with either of you making SB, so long as one of ya does it, so we can proudly proclaim a female SB. Now this is not out of some gender-bias here - there is a method to my madness. Women bring something special to events as instructors - have seen it many times. They are great with certain shooters and of course with other women, some of whom may feel less comfortable with a male instructor.
Now a female SB - that would be even better. The person who invited me to instruct long ago, was a woman we call DragonWood who went on to become my primary mentor in many ways, so it's only natural that I have been on the look out for a SSB (Sheila Shoot Boss) ever since.
No pressure. When can u run your first SBIT shift? :cool2: If you are interested - just send me your email in a PM and I'll reply with my entire kit of printed materials for the budding SB - a treasure trove of over-organized stuff!
Congrats LZ!
