Post by: hangfire on March 10, 2011, 09:36:55 PM
I was wondering if anyone out there is shooting the Remington UMC 308 Win 150 gr. MC, Catolog # L308W4....
What is your experience with this ammo? Have you worked up any come up's for this ammo? Please let me know, and Thanks in advance.

It is good ammo, very consistant. Good brass for reloading.

Standard come ups for the 308. No surprises.

100 to 200 2 minutes.

200 to 300 3 minutes

300 to 500 6 minutes.

500 to 600 4 minutes.

All distances in yards.

Of course, you will trust my info, but will "verify"........

We have used it as it is available locally and fairly cheap.
It is very consistent in both the Standard, NM, and my Polytech.

Great to here sense I just ordered up 400 rounds from CDNN I thought that they had a good price on it at 149.90 a case of 200. Can't beat shipping at 9.99 on ammo any amount.

Same as USGI M80 Ball ammo. Remington and Winchester have both been vendors for M80 Ball.

Come-ups for the WInchester 150 (really 147) gr FMJ ammo will also be the standard come-ups.

If that is the same as the Rem. 150gr that WalMart sells in the 40 round boxes ($33.00)/box it works fine out of my SA M1A Loaded.  Functions great and shoots 2 - 2.5 MOA.  Interestingly I have found that the cheapest .308 WalMart sells, Federal 150gr soft point in the brown box ($13.97/20 rd. box) shoots even better.  It groups consistently at 1 MOA or less from my M1A.
