Title: Staying the Course - why history is so important
Post by: Prone to Knit on February 25, 2011, 03:43:45 PM
A friend forwarded an article about history, why we need to know it, how it changes us. It just affirms what we are doing with Appleseed.

Thank you very much for posting this link.  Any of us who give history presentations at an AS are well aware of the general ignorance of American history among our citizens.  We must do everything we can to teach and aquaint our fellow citizens the heritage and the values of our forefathers.

American lack of History knowledge is in the news again.  Even the ducks are worried about it!
