Hello,
I will be going to the Winterseed event this weekend in Lapeer. I have ordered, received, and installed my tech sights
(t-200 model). I was going to sight in my rifle before this weekend, but then I remembered that I did not have or order
the adjustment tool. I have since ordered the adjustment tool, but I don't know if I will get it in time for the AS shoot.
To any of you that are attending this weekend, will anyone be bringing this tool with them?
Thanks,
Scout82
I think the model sight you have is the like the one I have on my Marlin 795. I took an old bamboo chop stick and cut the end to fit into the 'wheel' on the elevation adjuster, make it the same thickness as the 'wheel'. I use the sight base housing as a fulcrum and 'lever' the wheel to the needed adjustment. If you cut the stick in half you can make two and I painted it so I could find it on the ground when it gets dropped. Bamboo is tougher than most wood. The elevation adjuster can be turned by hand easily I found.

A funny thing happened to me once at an Appleseed. I asked for an AR15 A2 front site adjustment tool. (Also works with tech sites) I looked back down at the Rifle and get hit in the head with not one, but two tools. The really funny thing was... They were both a little different too.
If I had to guess I would say there will be more than two tools in Lapeer next Michigan. (Hmm... I'll have mine and I know ITB will have his)
Your covered.
I'm really looking forward to next weekend and reconneting with my SEMI roots.
See you next weekend...
G.B.
Thanks.
I did buy an ar-15 sight adjustment tool, but it did not fit on my tech-sights.
Must have been the wrong one.
Ohh well, still very excited to get there this weekend. I sure hope the snow storm
doesn't hit on friday.

Hey Scout
I'll bring mine too. If you have a 10/22 then we have the same sights and the adj tool i have will work on it.
As far as height adj on rear sight ...I just use a small slotted screwdriver to make my adjustments.
See ya on the Trail.
