Yes IC2, it will be held at Sun Valley
Rizzin, Thanks for the prompt reply.
What is show time on that Saturday???
I appreciate the help. I'm looking forward to helping this project. Time to give back to the NRA, The youth of America and the U.S. Military when the opportunity presents itself.

One more question, Can a rifle have a scope or is this Qual event an iron sights only shoot??
Scopes are fine.

Okay, thanks for the information ShadowMan.
But just in case, I went out to Valley yesterday to make sure my M1NM would zero at 25 paces. It did, but I'm only one up. That is good to know, I'd rather not expend 400 rounds of 7.62 just to qualify, even though I hope to have my AR NM upper up and running by then.

IC2,
Not to worry. One of the first things you will do is learn how to sight your rifle very efficiently. You will learn about IMC, inches, minutes (of angle), and clicks. Make sure you bring any tools with you that you might need to adjust your sights.
Don't worry, you will put those 400 rounds to good use. :)

Thanks ShadowMan,
But I'm good to go one all those things. I shot competitively for the military for 12+ years and hold a NRA Highpower classification of Higmaster with the M14NM service rifle and am a U.S. Army Distinguished Rifleman. I'm going through all the required steps to become an Appleseed Instructor and to do so rightfully, I feel have to and should start at the bottom like anyone else. Besides an "Old Dog" is never too old to learn something new. Plus it will be a great opportunity to learn from a student/newbie perspective just what the whole program is all about. See You on the 15th...
