I just checked the preregs. The February Bedford shoot sold out its initial slots and YHJ and chilidog had the beneficence to open up a few more slots. We need to get these filled. There is no reason we cannot have every inch of that line covered with shooters weather be damned. I know what you are thinking. It is going to be cold. It may be wet. After a couple hours of prone your cash and prizes are going to be as frozen as a polar bear's massive fuzzy self-esteem. BUT. IF YOU COME TO BEDFORD....you get to see me, SPQR. That's right folks. You have heard the tales and lore. As the song of an epic hero echoes through your lost and wintry mindscape, so to do the rugged good looks and roguish charm of SPQR leave an indelible print on your soul.
But seriously folks.... (Wait, I wasn't being serious?)
We need to low tech these last few spots. Call everyone you know. Start hitting them with the clown bat until we get these spots filled. While you are at it, rustle up some shooters for the Indy one day this weekend. There is no reason not to. I am bringing one to the Indy shoot and two to Bedford. How many you got?
WOW, makes me want to come down to Indiana :)

You know the phrase "check your ego at the door" means to leave it behind, not register it as a deadly weapon.

Hey what about Cloverdale? >:D It looks like only 1 pre-reg so far? ~~:) How about we fill that one too? :sos: Not to mention that the weather is supposed to be in the 40's this weekend! O0
The depth of my ego is so vast that I failed to mention the Cloverdale shoot simply because I was not going to be there. Such is the gravity of my self worship. I would, however, note that DaveD is going to be at Cloverdale, and that guy is a rockstar.

This should be added to the "info" for this shoot on the sched, so there'll be no question about "getting the word out" about this unique phenomenon in Indiana.
If you have it, it does little good to hide it - we need to let everyone know!!! ;D
PS: There's a rumor going around Elton John will be there - but who cares about that, when SPQR will be still be the main attraction? O0 O0
;D
[Guess, to be fair and square, SPQR will have to be at Cloverdale - next time. ;)]
SPQR? Elton John? All we need now is Sarah Palin! Look out YHJ its going to be a tough crew to handle!
We will have the fire burning, Mrs Chilidog soup on Saturday and Fried chicken Sunday!
Turning out Rifleman and Patriots galore!
Who cares what you freeze with all that!
Come on down D-fly I will let you sleep in my barn on a good ole bale of hay!
Leonard Skynard just called, wants to bring his bus.
FREEBIRD!!!!
Okay, I just got called out by the road boss. Looks like I may have to drive up to Cloverdale after church on Sunday.
I and my nephew will be there.
that is exactly what I wanted to hear! ^:)^
"We will have the fire burning, Mrs Chilidog soup on Saturday and Fried chicken Sunday!"
I don't know how anyone can top that menu!

"The depth of my ego is so vast..."
"Such is the gravity of my self worship."
This reminds me of a line from one of my favorite movies, Tombstone. "My hypocrisy goes only so far...", attributed to Doc Holiday.
I've heard of Fried chicken, had it. "Mrs. chilidog soup", never heard of it, but I'd imagine I'll give it a try. ;D
