A decision has been made and implemented that will have a deleterious effect.
Pricing for shoots has been changed and EventBrite changed to reflect it without letting us know.
We now have shoot flyers in circulation that do not reflect accurate prices.
As soon as I find an answer I'll let you know how we are supposed to handle it.
Sam
:D
LMK, I will pull all the flyers I put up here in LC, and redo them to reflect new prices and repost.
If anyone has already registered for an Appleseed shoot which would have been free, and is hereafter required to pay, PM me with the name and details and their cost will be covered.
Billing in imaginative ways...

Cooper,
That is a generous offer, but if they've registered they are already aware of the cost change and have agreed to it prior to paying for the event.

Hang on everyone, the left hand and right hand will get together and it will all be fine. Spend the night with your family and friends. Get some relaxation now before 2011 starts on it's way. Enjoy the rest while you can.
This can wait until tomorrow to get sorted out.
For now just "hold steady", there will be an update to everyone asap.

OK.
I have pulled all the obsolete material I distributed, and contacted the people I mailed to and destroyed the trifolds and fliers that I had printed.
If you have any obsolete stuff you may want to purge it.
Try to pass on the new pricing policy as widely as you can.
Have a great New Year.
Sam
May I suggest making sticker for mailing labels with the new pricing to stick on the tri-folds vice trashing them...O.L.

I'll cover the associated costs.
Just bailing in imaginative ways.

Yep, that's what I'll do in this area. A few sheets of those things don't cost much and setting up a template to print them ain't a big deal.....O.L.
I redid that color trifold we had been using and printed up a bundle. Thought about it but it was too crowded to use a sticker to change it.
Such is life.
I could care less about the expense at this point. It's minor and just a symptom
Other things I do care about and are not minor
I re-read the articles reprinted from Swat Magazine and Dillon Precision for distribution as AS promotional items. They are fairly generic in their pricing statements. Dillon states "adult shooters are $45 for one day of instruction and $70 for two." The article reprinted from Swat Magazine says, "For the paltry sum of $70 for two days of instruction over a weekend (which barely covers costs), students get world-class instruction in fundamental, traditional rifleman skills, along with a healthy dose of history of April 19, 1775. Anyone under 20 years old shoots free, so bring your kids and grandkids."
I'll let you decide, but it seems to me these handouts are generic enough to warrent continued distribution.
