He goes by many names within the ranks of AS instructors here in NY: "Stick Mark", "1st Sergeant", "Top", or by his forum name R1sgx2. It doesn't matter what you've called him in the past, you can now call him Shoot Boss Mark.
Congratulations and a job very well done! Mark is a hard worker and is very dedicated to the mission of saving our nation. On a more personal note, Mark was the very first Appleseed instructor I met at my first Appleseed in September 2009 at SaraSpa. Now he has traded in the orange hat he wore then for a red hat and a green hat. Mark now begins the next stage on his journey along the Appleseed Trail.
I'm proud and honored to be able to make this announcement to the Appleseed family!

Nice work, Mark.
..You are a Good Man First Sgt Mark..
..Strength & Honor....................................JW...................
congrats
Outstanding - well-deserved and well-earned.
Mildly surprised wasn't officially done by Fred @ BF AIBC...
Guess this clears up who will be running the one-day AS in February @ Saraspa...
Now, the Three Marks need to go new-range hunting - it's open season.

It is with great honor that I receive these
congratulations from such great and
dedicated AS members of all levels.
Most I know, some I have yet to meet,
but that's the AS way, Team Committed
with the common goal of saving our nation.
The talent in AS should and must not be
reckoned with.
I look forward to shaking the hands of
all of you on the trail, not in recognition
of the Green Hat, but after the hand shake
and greetings you will hear "LETS DO THIS",
and complete the mission as a Team.
Thanx to all of you that got out of the chair
and picked up the pail for bailing, (sometimes
having to put the 2 gallon pail down and
pick up the 5 gallon pail.)
When on the trail, we must not let dust
settle us (us being the team / no I).
Eyes of the Warrior / Always Open.
Until our trails met..........
Not that I have not always recognized that I get picked on by one of the best, but now you have a Green Hat to prove it!! As you know, I'm kidding.
But on a serious note, congrats Mark....you have earned it!! I look forward to continuing to learn from you and the great example you provide.
Sue
Congradulations Mark. You will be a great Shoot Boss for sure.
Remember...Go big or stay home
