Title: Roswell, NM Dec 4-5, 2010
Post by: oladcock on December 06, 2010, 07:27:32 PM
I'm working on getting the photos up. Great group of fine Americans who all brought teachable attitudes. Ages from 10 on up to? I knew better than ask a ladies age! The weather was chilly in the mornings, 25-30 degrees with a lazy breeze that went through you, not around. We had a visit by local newspaper reporter with a good write up on the front page Sunday edition Roswell Daily Record. A politician on the line and 3 kids of 2 different city councelman.

Our Rifleman score came on our 1 AQT on Saturday, score 228, shot with a lever action which fun to watch. Congrats David, that was some good shooting.

7 or 8 AQT's on Sunday had Chase and Burr knocking on the door shooting 190-200 with Jacob and Gideon doing the same off the bags. Great job guys and gals, I hope you enjoyed it and hope to see you again on the trail soon.....O.L.

Another great time at the range, everyone was safe and got to learn/polish some new skills while getting reaquainted with our heritage.  Congratulations Dave on making that Rifleman score, it was a pleasure to watch you manipulate that lever-gun.  Chase, Burr, dry-fire, dryfire, dry-fire and you will be ready for the next Appleseed.  It was a pleasure to work with you all.  Also congratulations to our two new Red Hats, Jerry and Jimi. A well deserved promotion
       Until next time,
           Milt

OL, great shoot Boss, what a weekend. Actually I made a bet with OL, Sam and Milt that Dave would make "Rifleman", what am I due now??? ::) The "Chase Challenge" on sunday showed a lot. Now please explain to me Chase how come you missed "Rifleman" after so much focus?

I was almost sure that we would have 2 more on sunday, but that cold wind took a lot out of all of us. High that day was 47 according to my computer for the stats. I know Juli thinks, and is right that it was a Winterseed.

Folks, I can only say that the self study does not compare to the knowledge, dedication and "Friendship", I have come to share with my Brother and Sister Appleseeders.

I just hope and pray I "NEVER" dishoner the Corp.
