Title: AAR Harvard, MA one day 11/28
Post by: lupis42 on November 30, 2010, 10:41:54 AM
What a group.  We had 17 shooters, the bulk of whom were new to Appleseed.  A few of them were, in fact, entirely new to rifles.  Nevertheless, they worked diligently, persisted, and despite being cold and tired at the end of the day, managed to make the evening redcoat numbers better than the morning redcoat numbers even though some of the rifleman had to stop shooting early.  (One, if I recall correctly, was shooting centerfire and ran out of Ammo on the last AQT.)

All of our shooters showed great improvement, and I have no doubt that with a little practice, and another Appleseed or two, they'll all be rifleman.

A full 4 of our shooters won't need another Appleseed though, starting with Jackie who shot a 213 before lunch, and then Andre, Dave, and Chuck got it done as well.  Dave actually managed to shoot his caliber, a 223 with his .223!  What's more, Andre, Jackie, and Dave all stepped up and took Orange Hats!  ^:)^ ^:)^

Alright, I've talked enough, I'm going to open it up for those who were (hopefully) taking pictures while I was busy handing out patches and hats!
