Day 1:
How can you not have a good Appleseed when 11 participants show up, the weather is a gorgeous mid 80s with a light breeze, and the backdrop is the mountain of Utah? Everyone posted great improvement and challenged the notion that 'you can't shoot a Ruger 10/22 with open sights). Steven was getting impressive groups with a box stock 10/22 with his persistence. Rachel, his 12 year old daughter, was a trooper and had a prone position that would humble even the most seasoned instructor! ^:)^
Hopefully we'll see more personal accounts as they register for the forums! O0 Photos to follow soon!
Day 2:
After getting Kevin shooting 4MOA on squares on both his 10/22 and centerfire we moved to the KD range with a target line out to 300 yards. His first shot out of the box was just 1" off the center of the target he was aiming at! ^:)^ Way to put in all together, Kevin! O0
Steve shot Rifleman (224!) at his first Appleseed, second AQT! O0 ^:)^
CONGRATULATIONS to Steve!
Thanks for posting MrA. O0
Congrats. to Mr. A. and to Steve (my namesake too) on graduating out of the kitchen. It took me until A.S.#4 to shoot out of the pots and pans. Cedar City is a great place, we stay there on the way to and from Colo. several times a year.........................steve
Didn't have time for too many photos but here's the line getting ready for ball and dummy!
