Title: Suamico WI Sept 11-12 2010 AAR
Post by: JoeZ on September 12, 2010, 08:45:27 PM
Snow (rain) or shine we're on the line. Boy did we earn our slogan this weekend. :)  Pictures to follow. A big thanks to the shooters and instructors who helped out at a small but effective shoot. We were well prepared and did well as a result.
Good job to our new red hat, our new orange hat, and our two new riflemen. Out of 5 shooters I think the results are outstanding. Jason and Drake, you were sooo close (only 6 more points), another Appleseed and you'll have it!!!!

More comments later.

Congratulations new Rifleman and welcome aboard.
Good shoot JoeZ  O0
Looking forward to pic's .
BTW is this  the city owned range ? The founders are proud of municipalities that honor them by providing facilities for the only sport they endorsed.

Shiocton is the city owned range. Its about an hour west and is a great range. For 3 bucks anyone can show up and engage targets up to 500 yards away, and it was built by the town!!! If anyone wants to, get in touch with fepowered or me and we can set up a full distance shoot.

I need to bragg a bit about the KD portion of the this shoot. We set targets at 100yds and clicked up 6moa as all the shooters were using 22 rimfires with ammo all in the 1250 range. One of our riflemen cleared the standing and the seated (50points each) in 15mph wind with a 22! He also shot a total of 238! That sure was fun to see.

I think mikes may have a picture of the standing target.

Here is an overview of the 100yd target line and a close-up of Rick's (ballisticattitudechange)   Off-hand 50 point target.   This was shot with a 10/22.
