I found that if I put an ear plug between the bridge of my glass's and the bridge of my nose it raise's them up to proper foucus and my score at distance improved quite abit .

On hot muggy days, this also increases air circulation and helps minimize fogging of lenses. A good idea all around...
I don't wear glasses, but I'll have to try that. I always have a terrible problem with my safety glasses fogging up.
I've posted your link at For those of us that wear [safety] glass's (http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=1btj82qnnniuvn27uh9m1j12n2;topic=14010.new#new) at http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=1btj82qnnniuvn27uh9m1j12n2;topic=14010.new#new (http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=1btj82qnnniuvn27uh9m1j12n2;topic=14010.new#new)
Simplicity- beautiful!

While I've never tried either I've heard/read of two ways to keep glasses from fogging up
1) spit on the lenses and then wipe them dry
2) smear some water and handsoap on the lenses and then wipe them dry

I'm sorry Wade. That makes
too much sense. ;)
you can get antifog stuff at motorcycle dealers that racers use in helmets and goggles

But don't you get really funny looks when you try to buy earplugs in triples instead of pairs?
I just had a discussion about this this weekend, with another instructor that wears glasses. She warns that if you wear bifocals during the heat the sweat and recoil bounces them down her nose until she hits the other lens and throws her off target by changing her sight picture. She still shot a 232, but I will tell her and others of the ear plug trick. Thanks Slim now lets see the blue Mohawk in your Avatar! ..:..
I had trouble with sweat running into my eyes. I ran across an item called a Sweat Gutter. Its a small plastic gutter you wear just above your eyebrows and the sweat is channelled off to the sides and away from your eyes. It works great. I wear it all the time when active outside. The website is easy to Google.
This topic has been covered before on the forum.
IIRC, not only the ideas above - the earplug on the nose, the rubbing your glasses with soap (not water) - but these:
*A bandaid covering the eyebrow of the shooting eye will keep down fogging moisture on the lens.
*Antiperspirant rubbed on the forehead and cheek on the aiming eye side will keep down moisture. Be sparing above the eye, to keep it from migrating down into your eye (stings!).
#A cold-water-soaked cotton headband will generally cool things down, along with keeping the hat brim elevated well above the eye to promote air flow.
There are prob others on the list - maybe someone can use the search function to smoke out the previous thread on this...
