Title: Target shooting on MO Conservation land
Post by: tittiger on August 27, 2010, 02:34:48 PM
Many of you know this I am sure but in searching for a free/cheap place to shoot I discovered the
following MO conservation web site that lists both attended and unattended places to target shoot in
Missouri:

http://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places-go/shooting-ranges-and-outdoor-education-centers (http://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places-go/shooting-ranges-and-outdoor-education-centers)

http://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places-go/shooting-ranges-and-outdoor-education-centers/unstaffed-ranges (http://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places-go/shooting-ranges-and-outdoor-education-centers/unstaffed-ranges)

* ATTACHED is the brochure giving more details than the web site does

This was also interesting:

Reserve a center for your group's meeting or training

Shooting range and outdoor education centers are available for group use via special use permit at a fee of $20 per hour. For details about reserving and using the centers, please call your center of interest. Phone numbers, mailing and web site addresses are listed with each center in this booklet.

We are checking on MDC ranges, but issues that have popped up are...

Human siloette targets

No fee can be charged

Prone position.

Still trying, but nothing yet.
