A good location, good weather and good students makes for a ... Good Shoot. Last weekend's Va Beach shoot was just that. A group of Americans got off of the couch to come out to the C2 facility in Southern Va Beach and learn the skills of marksmanship and their heritage as Americans.
While only one of our shooters earned his Rifleman's patch as Shoot Boss I was pleased that he made the decision to join the cause and take on an Orange hat. Congratulations James (aka. VA_Shooter_IT).
Others were quite close to Rifleman level, and one former Rifleman (Brian) was at the shoot to spend time with his daughter (Heather) and introduce her to the Appleseed method of marksmanship Instruction.
Thanks to everyone for making this a successful shoot but I can't thank the IITs and VAShooter enough for their help. So Doug, "Jason B", MikeB, and Alex let me say that you all did a great job.
