I was wondering if maybe someone could post in this thread or start another with all the WI, MN, and IL shoots that usually have opportunities to shoot KD?
Just to maybe consolidate them all into one easy-to-find place for future reference?
I got one!
Racine. 600 yards could be yours :)

Scroll down the the bottom of the post, see some shots of the KD range...
Great place, I know you'd love it! I think the next scheduled shoot is in October.
I believe they can be had in Shiocton.
Duluth, MN. Next time, I hope.
I believe Lodi in Oct. will have KD. Thanks Mogs for pushing this.
Racine in Oct will have KD. Also endpoint and I are working on a private KD event(out to 600yds) in Racine this fall. We have the OK for instructors and I'm sure some of the rifleman can also go (I'll hand you an orange hat at the gate :) :) ~~:) ~~:) ~~:)) This will be invite only so if you are interested PM me or endpoint.

Waterman, Illinois shoots 100 at EVERY event. Each and every shooter. We may do some adjustments and do 200 as well. 600 is possible for Riflemen that qualify.
Hubertus 200yds.
Shiocton 500yds.
Lacrosse 400yds.
Racine 600yds.
Suamico 200yds.
Chaseburg 200yds.
Lodi ????
More to come :~ :cool2:

Lodi......1200 yrds, yea right ++)
But they did say, I think, we could do something in Oct. Heck, the 600 yrd steel works for me.
Lots of options here; thanks for the info!
I will pick one of these shoots and locations that works the best schedule-wise, and try to make it.
Check with the shoot boss, just to make sure that it's a go. Since it will be our first time at Lodi, make sure you check on that one. The Lodi range goes out to 1400 yards but military rifles only shoot from within 1000 yds there. We'll probably just do 400 yards, though.

Just dial in 43 minutes of angle, and you are there. Bonus question:
@ 1000 yrd how many inches is 43 MOA ? Really the bullet drops that much?
@ 1000yrds how big is your 4 moa target ?
By the way, 1000 yrds is over 1/2 mile! :~
Trivia, A 308cal @ the muzzle is traveling over 2000 miles per hour. Yikes!
Oh, oh, oh ....pick me, pick me. I know ;)
Yow-sa. That is a monster drop. Waaay more than a couple two-tree inches ;D

I know a Rifleman is supposed to know this stuff; I guess I gots more learning to do............
public math 1 moa = 1.047 in at 100yd
43 moa = @ 450.02 inches at 1000yd
4 moa target = @ 41.88 in at 1000yd
