Another great event now behind us.
In total 31 shooters came out and braved both extremes: an unexpectedly warm and humid Saturday and a wet cool Sunday. This event was extra special because we had a large contingent of shooters from both the NH and MA Second Amendment Sisters come out to share the weekend with us. We had two bays at our disposal so the SAS Gals had their own shoot within a shoot!
In total we had three riflemen make the cut: Barbara, Rich, and Dennis... and both Barbara and Rich made it on the same rifle, anyone need help with their scores I guess you need to go borrow Rich's 10/22. We also had quite a few people knocking on the door come Sunday afternoon.
Down in the SAS bay they had probably some of the most remarkable improvement by a group in a single weekend. I wasn't there so I'll let the instructors from that bay chime in with the great details.
Oh, and I need to give a shoot out to Lupis42 and his magical box of Snickers ice cream bars that somehow survived in his car to come out Sunday afternoon.... during our mad dash for cover when we thought the predicted thunderstorms were about to rear their ugly heads.
Ninsho discussing transitions.

Just because it fits does not mean that it will work.
It took one shooter to insert this magazine and two instructors to remove it.

One of the few moments Devon was standing still.

Even though the barrel shroud was loose, this shooter fired a Rifleman's score.

And then my camera battery died... Drat!
You got the important Rifleman patch, bringing spare batteries would mean planning for failure - like taking two rifles and two types of ammunition... oh, we do that. Great pictures, thanks for sharing.
All we needed was snow and we had the whole weather gambit for New England
Anyway - Here's my pics
and a few more
Derek got his patch, then his hat and then a tool - according to the data associated with each file it was exactly 60 seconds in between the hat picture and the tool picture...

That's Rich O0
Ooops - Sorry Gents
Good work Rich
Here's a shot of Derek
That's not Derek either, Derek had the orange shirt and the M&P15-22. That's Dennis.
Ima go get more coffee now...
Sorry Boys
I have a jacket someone left at the shoot, if anyone is missing one please let me know.
That has GOT to be Ted out there in the seated position. I just KNOW it.
He's not gonna let a little thing like rain stop him... besides, it takes him a couple of minutes to get back in his chair, and then a couple minutes to get out of it... and he could be shooting an AQT with all that spare time!! **)
A Rifleman PERSISTS. And if he didn't make it last weekend, I'm going to drag him over the 210 mark at Harvard kicking and screaming if I need to. ;)
It is Ted - It's late Sunday after most everyone went home and the winds picked up. Notice the tarp at the rifle barrel...
He may be out of commission for a little while based on what he said during the day.
Yes that is me! :)
I think I might it harvard in July. I had surgery Tuesday and my parting words to my doctor before I went under was "please leave my right side alone I need to make rifleman".
He did not listen so I can not put a rifle up to my right shoulder for the next eight weeks. I am taking a break for the week then I am going to hit the range and try shooting from the left.
If that does not work I think I will still show up and be the event photographer.
Great time on Sunday. My dad commented on how much fun it was on the drive home.
Ted

 I'm in awe... you are one tough dude, Ted.
Hmm, Still no AAR from the women's range???
Hey Crak, how about a report?
Ok, here are some photos from the other range. Sorry it took so long to post. :-[
