To all those who gave so much for our Freedom and Liberty; Thank you and God bless.

Amen. I look forward to our local Anoka,Mn. memorial service. The American Legion puts it on and it is a great time for family to go and pay honor to those who gave for our freedoms. I am especially proud that we veterans are allowed to salute the colors again. My heart swells when the colors pass by, and I can render a salute. (For veterans this is a sign of utmost respect.)
So many think Memorial day is a time for the lake and picnics. Most Americans have forgotten the significance of the holiday, so I recommend you take your family/friends/whoever to a Memorial service. Only takes a few hours of your time, and then you can go about your day. BUT you will have honored the living and dead for their service.
To remember, is to honor.
