I just left a gunshow out here in WY. Found a good deal on .308, 550rnds for 200frns. it has a headstamp on it SM 66. Can anyone identify it for me? Thanks.

Are their German markings on the container ?
The word around the camp fire is that it is: back up the truck good!
I had some of this.
I found it very good stuff.
No problems and if I remember, boxer primed.
Actually it has Swedish markings. Does that change anything?
Ask this guy about Swedish ammunition:

Also from here:

"SM: AB Svenska Metallverken, Stockholm, Sweden"
Hmmm, what's the caliber?
.308 I hope it feeds my animals well.
Yes, you did say it was 308.
How's it packaged, in plastic sleeves, chipboard boxes? Swede box graphics & text are pretty distinctive.

Enjoy. It doesn't have 'em all but it's got a lot of 'em.
It is packaged in 50rnd cardboard boxes

Bueno, sounds like Swedish export ammo to... some Spanish-speaking parte del globo.
