The target is numbered as #6. Does anybody know what 1-5 look like?

I'm thinking that's a British target - in fact, a few years back, some dealer was selling the surplus as "Canadian" - whichever, the "English" origin is revealed in the spelling of "Centre".
Thanks for posting. Downloaded and printed out, it can make a "different" (and fun) target to shoot.

When I cropped the picture after I scanned the original it changed the size of the target. I can repost one that is original size to use at 25yds

Oh and nice catch on "centre"
:)

I have been taken to task via PM for appearing to "approve" the above as another target "for Appleseed use". ::)
There is and was no intention on my part to suggest the above under any circumstances as a target at an Appleseed.
I was innocently suggesting it in the context of taking it down to the range for some informal shooting - I hope some of us still do that... :)
not nearly enough.....
I made a bunch of those out of box corrugated cardboard, life size, same pose, plus some kneeling, some prone, and some at port-arms. Just drew them freehand. Different "uniform" though, let's just say it reflects our military's current foe....with AK-47's...The cardboard holds up well to rifle-caliber fire, not so well with .45 semi-wadcutters!
They are fun to ventilate, hard to see against a dirt-berm background!

What in the world is this 'informal shooting' you speak of?
I remember a time, way back when, when I could go out to the range any given weekend... seems like ages ago since I did it, can't remember why... Anyways, back to Appleseeding.

Go, do it. Take some... interesting targets like these for a change of pace.
Just remember to take the red hat off for those...
I try and go for a short time every week. It helps me relax for the stress of the week.
As for 1-5, that is really interesting. Here are some:

If you could also post it as an outline as opposed to a silhouette, my printer ink budget and I will be most grateful. :)

And there I thought the only "British" targets were redcoats.

I would love to shoot these new targets can't justify using that much ink on a target, unless they were just silhouettes. :)
This scan should be the correct size of the actual target.
The actual dimensions of the soldier are:
top of helmet to bottom of torso: 3 7/8"
elbow to shoulder: 3 1/4"

If you shoot him as a silhouette you woukldnt see the scoul on his face! and if you were worried about ink, I would think the silhouette would use more.
looks like Mr Scouley face has a pretty good "chicken wing" but needs to try to get his elbow under the rifle a little more. %)
