Yes, that is KodyJaret taking his Rifleman patch. I am proud to have been the one to present it to him. The man has been on the front lines of the soft war for longer than I have been alive a while.
Excellent turnout despite the weather. Had a great time, got to see some friends. A well deserved and earned Rifleman patch was awarded to KodyJarret O0 ^:)^ I inquired on one of the commemorative patches for instructors. B9 said I had to shoot a rifleman score, so I did. Can't wait to get my patch. ;D Looking forward to seeing all of you again.
from these pictures one might form the idea of pleasent weather...
Where's the picture of the quarter MOA adjustment on the savage?

Also from those pictures one would think the camera operator just did not get a good shot of KJ. Not the case. They were told a story of what happened to the last camera that did. ;)
Any day is a good day for an AppleSeed !
Tried a tip offered by B9,,,Finally nailed those small targets. Last AQT Sunday, a leprechaun from the Big Apple graciously offered to help me load mags, he must have put a little something extra in them. Good 'ol Matthew,,,Matt-20/16..... O0
Lastlly,,,Genmain collected three jackets after everyone left, appear to be ladies' sizes ? If your missing a jacket , shoot me a PM, and I'll get it back to you.
..What a Glorious weekend to save a Country.. I agree with B9 who stated on Saturday that April 19th should be an American National Holiday!. This was Elbridge's second shoot and its a great range to camp, eat breakfast and shoot..
..Skaneateles is close by and a nice town, Bass Pro Shop is close by too.. I am so proud of our redheaded stepchild Robby, for earning his Rifleman Patch. KodyJaret is a fine example of a D.O.M., its a shame when you loose your best head cook to the Rifleman's Patch, but I was honored to be there when he did it..(hell we'll get another cook LOL)..and KodyJaret has been with AS for a long time 7th stepping and I have the utmost respect for him and all his work for the program..
..I got to tell the first strike and RSO and SB throughout the weekend, its magical to have the opportunity to bring back to life the true story of Lexington & Concord on April 19th 1775(and have some American People wanting to hear it too).. Working with B9, Gunville, KodyJaret & Genmain is top-shelf and I am glad to be amongst such fine folk..
..May NY State continue to strive to be the best at what we do, which is to Love our Country with such conviction that we honor our heritage through rifle marksmanship..
..Boys and Gals there is 19 million people in our State, we have a ton of work to do.. "lets roll".....
...Strength & Honor...................Join or Die.......................Josey Wales....................
..here are some more photos..
BUMP
As I mentioned, I have three jackets seeking to return home: green fleece, camo fleece, blue rain jacket.
We had a good crew at Elbridge, I've worked w/ these fellows before. Though we come together infrequently, I think it quite excellent that we can meet, at an appointed time and place, work cohesively for a common goal, and part friends, perhaps more than friends.
GREAT NEWS!!!! ^:)^
And, great job, KJ.
Folks, so you know, KodyJaret has worked harder than anybody I know to get that Rifleman patch. A true example of persistence.
His first Appleseed was Van Etten, NY way back in May 2007. Also the first one I was Shoot Boss. A long road, for sure, but one worth traveling.
And, I'll say that we would not be where we are at today in New York, Appleseed wise, without his hard work and assistance.
Attended the event on Saturday with my son.
Weather could have been better.
In spite of that it was time well spent. Staff was terrific, knowledgeable and professional. Line was safe, and instruction was great.
We are looking forward to June in Albion, doing both days with my youngest daughter.
Congratulations to the latest Riflemen.
