Title: Roswell NM 17-18 April 2010
Post by: SamD on April 19, 2010, 10:58:02 PM
Well people the only way to describe it is GREAT.
duc-dog, oladcock,Strawberry Roan and I were joined by 27 eager shooters from 7-72 and we had a fantastic time.

Five new Riflemen added to the ranks, and a lot of new friends.
I'll post pix soon as I figure out how.

As a bonus, we had a lady that drove past 2 Texas Appleseeds just to come shoot with us.  I know you DFW people are having "fun" finding range space and this lady just might be able to help you out.

:D Awsome shoot Boss, out of the 3 previuos Appleseeds, this was another great one, but best of all I am proud to be invited, (and Accepted), to be a new IIT  ^:)^. Will be glad to start "breaking in" at the Alamo shoot May 1-2 if you want me . Will have a bunch of questions for you, but will do them via e-mail. :cool2:

Good on ya, Jimi!  Knew you could do it!  Proud of you for stepping up to wear the orange hat. O0
This shoot was the first one instructing for me and I will carry many great memories of it.  It was awesome seeing each student working hard at the fundamentals through the cool, drizzly Saturday morning and through the fatigue on Sunday afternoon.  When those patches were earned by our new Riflemen, I was as proud as if I'd done it myself! ^:)^
Okay, I'm ready to schedule the next one for Roswell!  Time to get busy! ;)
