Calling all Texas Red and Orange hats! Mark your calendars for a Texas Appleseed Round-Up!!! ..:..
Bring your family and enjoy an afternoon with fellow red and orange hats. We will have an all hands meeting to discuss Appleseed News, brainstorming session, and overall state wide program update.
A lunch of hamburgers, hotdogs and brats with sides and desserts will be provided at no cost. :D We have a shaded pavilion rented and there is a playground, lake for fishing and hiking trails nearby so kids will have a great time as well.
Where: Buescher State Park Group Pavilion
When: Saturday July 31, 2010
Time: Pavilion is reserved from 10am-9pm
Lunch will be served at around 3pm with meeting to follow.
We received a discounted entry fee of 2.00 per person. Be sure to inform the Park office you are with the Appleseed Project group upon check in.

Reminder: This Saturday July 31st is our first red and orange hat picnic. Bring your family and enjoy an afternoon together. We have a special family appreciation gift to hand out, and games for the kids.
We have some fantastic prizes from Cabelas, CMP, and other donations for our drawing.
Scout is providing brisket and sausages, many others are bringing homemade goodies including ice cream.
We will have meeting after lunch to go over updates and talk about upcoming events.
