By 10:00 on Saturday I was looking forward to announcing that 100% of our students had made Rifleman this weekend, as our only student (Kelly) nearly cleared the first redcoat missing only the square.
As we started the first AQT he posted a 49 in standing, finishing with a 202.
Kelly finished his second AQT with a score of 208 with three saved shots.
We ended Saturday there hoping our 5 students would show up Sunday.
Sunday opened with cloudy skys and instructors at the ready. Polygunner stopped by to see how things were going and Hotshuz dropped in. It didn't take long to realize we were it so we pulled out our favorite rifles and sighted in on squares before working on AQTs.
When the rain started we took a break under the cover and worked on history. Hotshuz, a veteran of several Appleseeds who posted a Rifleman score of 228 last month took the orange hat. I'm looking forward to working with Hotshuz I'm sure he will be a great asset to Appleseed.
Here's some pics.
I guess we could say that Sunday was nothing but Riflemen on the line. O0
It was nice to have a small group for my first time attempting the history. I believe it will only get easier with practice!
Jules looks like a downright dangerous lady of Liberty with that AR-10. Nice pix, BD! I'm looking forward to seeing her new rifle on the line.
