It's interesting how Appleseed changes how you look at the world.
Found an interesting and relevant video on You Tube. Simple, visceral, great tune, non-preachy and... doesn't take itself too seriously.
The video is entitled "King George, it's too late to apologize". Most of the video is done in Period Costume, except for the obligatory Rock Concert section. I bet you never knew that Ben Franklin played guitar like that! Of course an Electric Guitar.

When I first saw it I had two thoughts.
1. An unusual topic for a rock video. It's about the anguish that our founding fathers felt as they reached that point when they realized that the American Revolution was about to turn into the Revolutionary War. Never thought about that prior to Appleseed. Never thought I would see a video mentioning the Tea Party and the Intolerable Acts etc.
2. That a powerful Appleseed promotional video could be built around the theme of "To remember is to honor"
If Rock Video is not your thing here are the Lyrics.
Halfway across the globe
And we're standing on new ground
Screaming 'cross the waves
You can't hear a sound
There's no fair trials, no trade, no liberties
No tea
We've colonized America; we won't stand for tyranny,
Oh king
And it's too late to apologize
It's too late
I said it's too late to apologize
It's too late
We've paid your foolish tax, read the acts
And they just won't do
We want to make it clear, we believe this much is true
All men were created with certain
Unalienable rights
Among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit
Of happiness
And it's too late to apologize
It's too late
I said It's too late to apologize
It's too late
It's too late to apologize
It's too late
I said it's too late apologize
It's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah
It's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah
Halfway across the globe
And we're standing on new ground
Here is the Website for the guys who put out the video

These guys are in Asheville, NC is that any where near Ramseur?
I'm not sure I'd call it rock. Pop may be more accurate.
I don't necessarily care for the tempo...But the lyrics and video are great!
Great video. Thanks for posting the link. This 4mer Marine gives it 2 O0 and 2 big toes to boot (yes, pun intended)!
Heck yeah...I enjoyed it, too. Little different approach, but good.
