I haven't done the research, but lets assume the article is right.

Our main mission, as I understand it, is to "wake people up".  To do that I'm tempted to go around telling people things like:

We should end the drug war.

We should pull out of foreign bases.

We should end the "war on terror".

We should abolish the constitution and fragment our country to individual states.

oh yeah, and the South was right.

etc, etc, etc.

What good does that do?  I can tell you first hand, not alot.  It took me 8-10 years to get to where I am philisophically (and I'm still moving).  Its hard to expect people to get to where you are quicker than you yourself did, I think.

But Appleseed gets people moving.  We get them thinking about history, about gov't, and about firearms.  I think its a great start.  Thankfully, there are websites like LewRockwell.com that can hold their hand (like they hold mine) the rest of the way.

My point is, even if what we're teaching isn't completely philosophically sound, its miles ahead of where the average person is.  And most importantly, its PALATABLE.
