Who can make a spelling correction on the main page of www.appleseedinfo.org? :)

1st page of your web site ,  first paragraph:
"The Appleseed Program is designed to take you from being a simple rifle owner to being a true rifleman. All throughout American history, the rifleman has been defined as a marksman capable of hitting a man-sized target from 500 yards away -- no ifs, ands or buts about it. This 500-yard range is traditionally known as "the rifleman's quarter-mile;" a rifleman can hit just about any target he can see.
This skill was particulary evident in the birth of our country,   ........"

The word should   correctly read   particularly

To Scuzzy, Yellowhousejake and Bill3,

Thanks for the seamless forum change.  Very nice!!  I noticed the spellcheck right off.  Some of our spelling errors made me cringe!!!  That's the problem with having a mother and grandmother and aunt who were all grade school teachers.  We were constantly corrected on our grammar.   %)

I have, however noticed an ommision of a very important nature~~~the cool2 emoticon, who looks over his sunglasses at you, is missing!!!!  :o

I really liked that little guy!!  Anyway to get him added back into our list?   8)  (See, I would be peeking over my glasses at you right now, but I can't)   :'(

lol  Thanks for all you do!!!

thanks for all the hard work on the server mods.

I was trying to reply to to a thread in WL1 deals and steals. I don't seem to have a reply button available to me. It isn't like that on all the sections I have gone to to experiment, but it is on some. Specifically, I get it in "Announcements - After Action Reports" and "WL1 - Deals and Steals". There may be more, but I have to leave for school.

I don't have the cash to buy the Dillon, but I wanted to find out the state since he was giving away the loading bench if it was FTF. I thought someone might want to know how far they had to drive.

thanks

Joe

The permissions are set that way so that posts on that board don't turn into discussion threads.  Use a PM (personal message)  instead.

replies to the Deals and Steals need to be via PM, for everyone.

Just PM the fella, he will tell you.   If he gets many other similar requests for info, he can edit his original post.

Thanks

Appreciate the effort guys; especially the little details.  :)

When someone gets a chance, could the copyright date at the bottom of the web pages be made current? Right now it shows 2007, and a "visitor" brought this issue up awhile back.

Fixed to be 2009. Hope I can remember to be 2010 in another month.

I'm not sure how the copyright works myself. Does the date actually have to be updated yearly to be valid? I have no idea.

Scuzzy, this gives a general overview of copyright protection: http://www.benedict.com/Digital/Web/WebProtect.aspx

There are javascript, php, and CGI scripts available to add into the web page code that will generate the symbol and automatically update the year.
