Title: Baraboo, WI mini Nov 7, 2009
Post by: Old Glory! on November 07, 2009, 08:41:49 PM
Great weather!  67, sunny, no wind.
Ahhshoot, Colycat, Shake'n'Bake, Adam, Twinkletoes (oh she would NOT like it if she knew I called her that >:D), Old Glory!

Since it was a mini we took the liberty to change up the COF.
Shot some AQT's trying a couple of different things:
standing on all 4 stages,
seated on all 4 stages,
bring one mag to the mat, 40 rounds, prep mags in between stages, 4 minutes total.

Confirmed some Rifleman scores.
Adam shot his highest score 195, you are SOOO close!  Great demeanor and persistence.
Cleared some redcoats.
Shot left handed.
We each took Morgan's challenge and fired one round at the 250 yard target.
And figured out how to Appleseed AND enjoy a little couch time.

Just imagine some day in the near future a mini Appleseed, instead of family picnics, in every small town America.

How about roof top Liberty Training Ranges in every big city. In every basement, the possibilities are endless.

Looks like alot of fun.

I understand this post now,

Ahhshoot doesn't want IITs cluttering up their vehicle with things like LTRs when they could be bringing him a LazyBoy!

We each took Morgan's challenge and fired one round at the 250 yard target.

One at a time, everyone got into position, slung up, loaded 1 round, and engaged the 250 yard head shot. We all made Dan's company... except one individual who had a long walk home, hanging his head low after missing it three times. No wonder why Morgan never made an exception on taking a second shot. I hope the regular militia takes cats.

I'm sure there was something wrong with the rifle...  Sights were off... Wasn't lubed properly....  A granule of uranium dust got on one of the lands, adhered itself to the projectile, and now miss-balanced it couldn't stablize properly..... #)

Probably trying to figure out trajectory at 250  yds. I'm sure its a math thing. Those head shoots aren't all there cracked up to be anyway. I would have him on my team anytime.

I hope you guys never have to experience a son as hard as Ahhshoot.  Good grief, I had just cleared the red coat, and then he brings this up.  Does the 30 cal rule apply?  I think I shoot better at Riflemans cadence anyway.  10 shots in the 400 yrd, after I missed the head shot **) **) **) **)

What Ahhshoot did not mention, is OG strolls out,  slings up to a open sited rifle and puts it center mass.  The best shot of anyone. SHOOT LIKE A GIRL, IF YOU CAN.  She then does the range walk back to the house.  OHHGEEZE &)
