Have some 223 brass (30 rds) - range pickup. The head stamp is: M193 0 8 Is this stuff Lake City? or a sub contractor Hadn't seen any like it before

My bulk .223 from AIM Surplus had this head stamp. It was made by Centurion, IIRC.

Ditto on that. Have reloaded about 1k of this headstamp and had a few split case necks on first reload.

With only 30 rds, I'll just scrap it. Can't see working up a special load for them.

Don't just scrap em use em as targets at 25 meters first great fun O0

Great idea, but my gun club takes a dim view of shooting anything other than targets &)
