To thems not already familiar:
Old Glory acquitted herself with much distinction in her first-ever role as "on location reporter" at Ft. Stewart.
She diligently photog'd the entire adventure, ran a video camera as well as a voice recorder, conducted impromptu interviews, and made copious written notes - all the while smiling and offering encouragement and marksmanship ed to the soldiers.
She was professional and personable, casting a fine light upon our organization.
Did I mention that she slept in Army barracks, ate Army food, and spent an entire week surrounded by rough men?
Kudos to you OG - long may you live.

Backwoods Home Magazine (May-June 2010 issue) features Appleseed Projects on its cover and an excellent feature story by Massad Ayoob. A great article about a great project, by a great author, in a great publication! Don't miss it!
