We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Spring weather.  Finally.
The folks that came out to the Project Appleseed at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center were treated to some absolutely gorgeous weather.
We started Saturday with the safety briefing, then,  got straight in to the teaching.  This was a group of half returning students and half new students, but all were 100% focused on learning.
A break for lunch and the history, then it was back out on the line for more learning.
We got 1 AQT in, no rifleman score on Saturday, but some dang good groups.
Sunday, was review and tuning up of positions, making some cheek risers (tshirts and vet wrap work well) and shrinking those groups.
History at lunch was well presented.
AQT's showed that folks were working hard.
Chris (a returning student and Rifleman) posted 4 Rifleman scores!
Then Christina, a returning student, determined to finally make that magical score did so with a 225!!  Oh and she is our newest IIT!!!  Congrats and welcome aboard! ^:)^

By the way, Mr. B was an absolute delight!!!

Big thanks to everyone for helping us clean up after the event.

Big, huge thanks to the instructors who really make this work!

The books we mentioned:

Paul Revere's Ride  by David Hackett-Fischer
Washington's Crossing  by David Hackett-Fischer

Look forward to seeing you all out again, bring friends!
