Title: AAR: Evansville October 23/24, 2010
Post by: sur+rifle on October 31, 2010, 05:01:29 PM
Another great shoot at Red Brush Rifle Range. This was the most beautiful shooting weather we have ever had at an Evansville shoot.

All seven shooters on the line showed significant improvement over the weekend under the guidance of IITs Jimbo and BioGranny.  On the Saturday morning Red Coat target we had 5 shooters clear the 100 yd silhouette, 1 clear the 200, and none clear the 300 or 400.  That afternoon we had only 5 shooters for the Red Coat (2 had to stop early) and the corresponding results were 5 clearing 100, 4 clearing 200, 3, clearing 300, and 1 clearing 400.  And on Sunday we were consistently seeing AQTs in the 190s and 200s and had one new Rifleman;  Congratulations Daniel!

We also had the opportunity on Sunday to do a 100 yard AQT.  This was a fun addition to our other KD instruction.

It was a really good shoot!
